Simplicity is the word that flashes across your mind when you have a close look of the LG KF300 flip phone. The phone oozes user friendliness with its mere chasteness. The KF300 is a flip phone that is slim with a design that might not enlist oohs and aahs from you, but manages to hold your interest. The phone is just 16.2mm thick and has a smooth black front panel that has a prism-like design along with an external screen with a clock. The hinge feels sturdy despite the thinness of the handset.
Once you flip open the phone, the keypad could have you smiling, for it looks cutely large. Well, whether you like a keypad of such size is a matter of opinion, but it sure is comfortable to use. The changeable font size in an interesting aspect, with options ranging from normal to super. So if you’re the type who prefers that extra large font that is easy on the eye, the KF300 might well be your friend. The mobile phone has a 3MP camera that is rather an average affair – photos lack the clarity that one would expect.
The internal memory is just about 14Mb, but you can expand it though, using the MicroSD slot. The LG KF300 supports SMS, MMS, email and predictive text. Then there is a WAP 2.0 browser; but my, is browsing difficult. There is no full screen mode, so you end up struggling with the navigation buttons and giving up in the end.( I certainly did!) This phone supports Bluetooth, Video Recording and has a Document Viewer though it lacks Wi-Fi and GPS. This slim flip phone is quoted to have a standby time of Up to 200 hours and upto 2 hours of talktime. In all, if you’re a chunky fingered dude and prefer a simple, easy-to-use mobile phone with no extra frills, then the LG KF300 could very well suit you.
